“Before I started working with Lindsay I was unsure about the next steps in my career. This lack of clarity was preventing me from putting all my effort into a specific goal.

The largest impact of coaching with Lindsay was that it taught me how to recognize the data points and signals that point to jobs and company cultures that would make me happy. Lindsay’s infectious and consistent positivity was inspiring and really supported my quest for meaning in my career.”

“Lindsay's program had a profound positive impact on my life. Before working with Lindsay I was feeling like I wanted to quit my job every single day. I felt lost and hopeless and felt like I had no idea how I had gotten myself to this point, and no idea of what I was going to do in the future.

Through her coaching, I changed the things that weren't working for me in my current work situation, and clarified for myself what I want to do in the next chapter of my career. Lindsay helped me turn my immediate bad work situation into a very positive situation, and that opened even more opportunities for me. She allowed me to feel like I have the right to change my mind, take opportunities that come but then decide not to move forward with them which was very powerful for me.

My family, my co-workers and I have greatly benefited from Lindsay because I'm a better and more authentic version of myself after going through her program. Thank you Lindsay for literally changing my life!”

I think Lindsay’s program is just about the best insurance policy you can buy for your future career satisfaction. Yes, we all think we know what we want and what we’re good at, but for me, this was all rolled up into a jumbled mess that had me walking in circles mid-career and going nowhere. I was experiencing maximum frustration with my current job. I felt directionless and flailing in my half-baked search for a new job. I was also feeling a little overwhelmed and helpless sprinkled with some desperation and determination not to be overwhelmed and helpless anymore.

Lindsay deftly untangled the mess and helped me weave together my story in a practical way that I will be able to draw on for job searches and career decisions big and small all the rest of my working days. I now have a crystal clear picture of the work environment where I can thrive, and I’m feeling well-outfitted with the values and strengths combo to become a more coherent and confident spokeslady for myself.”

“When I first contacted Lindsay, I was feeling like I had hit the peak of my career and I found myself applying to jobs I wasn't particularly excited about. I was feeling stuck, felt that my options in life were narrowing and that my only path forward was one that I didn't find terribly exciting. I was hoping she would help me figure out what role I should take up next. But, she rather broadened my perspective and not only helped create a framework of how I think about my career, but also how that fits into the rest of my life.

The program is also very well designed and I loved the exercises (even more in hindsight). They were a lot of work, but I now have something that I can keep referring back to. I think of it as a design thinking program for your career. Coming out of it, I'm re-energized and inspired to try out all the new possibilities that have come up since my first session.

Lindsay will help you realize all the amazing things you have to offer and help you be your very best person. She will also help you realize that your career is more than your current or next job, but it's the realization of your very own special talents.

I'm feeling so much more confident about all the things I've achieved in my life and all the amazing things I'm going to do in the future.”

“I'm a naturally skeptical person and career counseling always sounded like something people with too much money and not enough drive did. I decided to do it, because, honestly, I was at the end of my rope and it seemed like the last thing I could try before throwing in the towel and giving in to apathy and dissatisfaction with my job... BOY, WAS I WRONG. What a freaking transformational experience.

Working with Lindsay over the course of 3 months, I've seen a dramatic mind shift. 3 months ago I was paralyzed when thinking about the future, I kept looking back and judging all my past decisions as "wrong" and embarrassed to even say things I wanted out loud. Now, I've quit my job, have 2 amazing offers on the table, I'm excited about the future and I've realized there are no "right" or "wrong" decisions. We've all got multiple great lives to lead and the fun is in not knowing. I can communicate my strengths, I'm aware of my values, my work environment, what I want from my team, and how I can thrive... and I have so much more clarity and confidence in myself and my next steps. I can't recommend Lindsay more!”

“When I started working with Lindsay I knew that I wanted to make a change at work but I didn't know how to navigate through it on my own. I was looking for support in that process which I definitely got and was successful in making the change I was hoping for. But I got so much more out of the program than just that.

Lindsay is fantastic at bringing into focus what's important to you in your career, what's in or out of alignment, how to get where you want to go, and in the end, you'll have that sense of clarity that seems so illusive. I believe Lindsay can help anyone on any career trajectory and I wish I had done this thirty years ago.”

“My story is that my job was not working for me and I was pretty sure I didn't have any other opportunities. Also, I was dealing with new responsibilities in starting and providing for a family. To say I felt stuck is an understatement. Lindsay took me step by step through the process of really seeing what would work for me and what I would excel at. Throughout the process, she helped me learn a variety of exercises I can do by myself in case I find myself in a similar situation in the future.

Towards the end of the program I actually found and got a job that was really in line with my goals and working style.  It was amazing starting that first day in a role that really worked for who I am as opposed to who I thought I had to be.

Since starting the new role, I have kept using the learnings to help me decide what projects to ask for and create and which ones to ask to have someone else take on.  I feel that the tools that I put into practice during my time with Lindsay will 100% guide my career going forward. And besides increasing my enjoyment of life, my increased satisfaction in my career creates more stability for my family and enables me to come home at the end of the day full of energy and excitement.

So, if you are stuck/uninspired/constantly stressed/feel like an "other" in your current job, I highly recommend working with Lindsay. She for sure helps you see and explore your "Life of Options" :)”

"I was feeling positively firm in my decision to leave my big fancy job that I had worked my entire adult life for, and took a huge risk by departing without anything else lined up. I needed to take time off to slowly and methodically think about what I was going to do next, and luckily I had built up enough resources to enable me to do that. It was a difficult and long thought out decision, so by the time I left I knew it was the absolute right thing for me to  be doing. What I didn't know, though, was what steps I needed to take to avoid falling back into an unhealthy work environment.  The previous situation was all I had known and I needed help to figure out what was a healthy fit when examining job options. Lindsay did exactly what she promised - gave me confidence and clarity, as well as regular sanity checks!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful exercises she put together that triggered so many “aha!” moments. It meant so much that she took so much time synthesizing what she's learned from books and workshops, along with her own personal insight, and developed really meaningful questions that allowed me to come to my own conclusions. I am now in a job where I not only thoroughly enjoy my work, but am doing so under working conditions I can actually thrive in. I could not have dreamed up a better environment for me, and I couldn't have done this without Lindsay's guidance.

Once again, Lindsay is incredible, and I could go on forever about the impact she's had on my life. She is a natural coach who asks thoughtful questions that allow you to come to your own conclusions - something I found even more meaningful than following straight advice."

“Before working with Lindsay, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and a bit hopeless. I knew I needed to leave my job but had no clear vision of where to go and how to start taking meaningful action. I was hesitant on the price and already on a tight budget, but I saw this as an investment. The biggest impact I've experienced working with Lindsay is that I am now able to articulate my strengths and pursue opportunities that match my strengths and experience. After some time, I recognized that I was staying in a job I was miserable at because I have a strong sense of responsibility. I was immobilized with fear and in a self-sabotage cycle, so having a few thumbs-ups from Lindsay helped me to see that I did know my strengths, I did have experience that translated to other opportunities, and I did have a clear and compelling story.

Lindsay helped to listen through the chatter and tease out the important insights and relevant experience. With her help, I saw the direction I was heading and increased my awareness and confidence in my ability to trust my instincts.

Lindsay outlined a program that works no matter where you are in your career journey. Whether you are completely overwhelmed and have no idea where to begin or you are amidst a transition and need a professional gut-check, Lindsay is a gem to work with and her program can help you to define your path forward.”

“When Lindsay and I started our work together, I was lost and overwhelmed by the career search. I felt trapped into a prescribed role by my previous job skills, and unable to see a future where I could someday like my job and use my skills to better the world. Lindsay helped me to be realistic and practical about the experiences of my past and my goals for the future. We went through my work history and past roles, and she listened attentively to the challenges and triumphs that led me to where I am today.

With her guidance, I was able to clearly come up with a framework for evaluating my next opportunities. She provided human accountability and self-imposed deadlines to keep me on track, and I am pleased to say our work ended with me feeling empowered and in control.

Directly through her advice in how to seek out new jobs, I found a part-time role I'm working in now and have a final round interview with a potential dream employer. If you're not sure about career coaching or Lindsay in general, I can't recommend this experience more enthusiastically. She makes the daunting challenge of a career transition feel like an obvious step in the right direction, and for that I am very grateful.”

“Before working with Lindsay I was feeling very powerless, insecure, and hopeless. I wasn't sure if this program would help me make a decision: to go to business school or not to go to business school. I was also hesitant I would actually walk away feeling like I had direction and purpose.

Working with Lindsay helped me see that I am the one driving my career, that I cannot rely on others, no matter how fantastic they are, to make things happen for me. I need to always be my biggest advocate and cheerleader, and I need to always be seeking out opportunities and sharing them with others.

It did surprise me (in a good way) how introspective the homework assignments were. I learned a lot about myself and now have tools to help me understand what I value at work and in life. This is not easy work - it is hard work - and you get out what you put into it.

I love how organized and clear the curriculum and program are; the program provides a very logical and practical approach to making significant changes. The constant support and encouragement are fantastic - I appreciate having had a partner through the coaching journey to celebrate with, stress with, and bounce ideas off of. It's a true gift to receive so much individualized attention from someone that truly believes in your abilities!”

“Lindsay really helped me to determine the things that were important to me in both my career and my life, and helped give me the mental permission necessary to explore what would truly make me happy going forward. She did this through a number of really beneficial exercises, consistent check in's, and most importantly a position of strong insight coupled with a very evident talent for listening and coaching.

It is so clear that Lindsay was built to do this type of work and her resume shows it. She helped guide me to a job and career that I am extremely happy to be in, and have been for the last ~6 years since working with Lindsay!”

I was unhappy with my current situation and unsure of my options, careening from one idea to another. I was in a place of having a lot of angst in my career and wasn’t really sure how to make a decision I’d be happy with.

Through conversation and homework exercises, Lindsay added structure to my thought process and helped me to articulate my goals for the next stage in my career. Lindsay helped me to process the decision, systematically weighing factors and becoming clear on the direction I should go. She introduced me to tools to pace myself and hold myself accountable while being flexible enough to meet me where I was from one week to the next. A few sessions later I was able to organize myself around a job search, which resulted in a new career direction that I’m really excited about. Lindsay has keen insights and is genuinely warm and easy to talk to.

It was as comfortable as talking with a friend, but also more productive than talking with a friend. I highly recommend working with her!”

“Working with Lindsay changed my life! This has been a total game-changer. Not only was I able to get an incredible opportunity after our time together; I was able to really build the foundation to become more resilient and weather any future professional challenges in the longer term.

Through her program, I was able to let go of a lot of things that were holding me back that weren’t at all good for my mental health/overall wellbeing, and even toxic to some of my relationships. I now have a much healthier and balanced view of work that is aligned and coherent with my values.

The biggest value of Lindsay’s program is to help you get out of feeling/being stuck by 1) giving you better clarity around who you are, 2) which in turn gives you the confidence to make intentional decisions that feel good to you, and 3) communicate these and advocate for yourself effectively to create some intentional luck and opportunities for yourself. The different exercises and ongoing dialogue with Lindsay help you develop a tremendous about of self-introspection and realization, and these really end up being the north star that you can take with you in the long run, wherever you go. This program will leave you being more resilient and comfortable in your own skin, and helps you realize that you have a lot of agency and ownership in your own career.

Thanks to our work together, this is the lightest, most peaceful, and content I've felt in years, and I feel ready to conquer what's ahead of me!”

"I’ve always been a dabbler; curious about learning a bunch of things and wanting to try out different jobs. But I’ve always felt that dabbling should result in eventually getting to the “thing” I’m supposed to do. I saw this reaffirmed all around me with peers who were now being promoted to VP or manager of different orgnizations.

I’d always felt like something was wrong with me, that maybe I’m too lazy or flakey to want to put in the work to commit to building a career. Before coaching, I was having the same conversations with myself over and over again. Then I decided to search for a career coach, wanting someone to point me in the direction of which path I should be on. I found Lindsay’s site, and I knew immediately that she would get me to where I wanted to be. Her language was just spot-on with what I was feeling.

I knew Lindsay was who I wanted to work with because she specialized in working with people like me. I didn’t have to explain myself. She got it because she was in my spot at one time. Even in our first consulting session, she revealed to me that what I was feeling was completely normal, and this gave me a huge sense of relief.

Lindsay made me realize that there was actually nothing to “fix”. She gave me so many lightbulb moments that led to clarity and confidence in moving forward. I’ve never really experienced the power of a reframe but having a shift in perspective makes all of the difference in how you view your past decisions and guiding you towards your next one.  Because of coaching with Lindsay, I now view my journey as a delight to figure out, rather than a burden that I’ve been tasked with solving. And I feel so liberated in knowing what I have to offer as a “dabbler”.

Lindsay’s program was hard and required a lot of self-reflection, but it definitely provided results. I tried talking myself out of coaching so many times because I felt like I should just be able to figure it out by myself, but ultimately, I realized that I already spent this long trying to DIY it with clearly no success. I
am so grateful to Lindsay as well as myself for making this investment and I have seen such amazing results."

“When I met Lindsay, I felt a general sense of discontent with my career but was struggling to turn that discontent into action. I came into the program viewing the ideal job as something which is out there to be found with the proper search techniques, like a matching algorithm. I am no longer spinning my wheels, searching introspectively for the elusive "perfect career."  Instead, I now see my career unfolding as a series of manageable next steps and that has translated into feeling more engaged at work, taking on leadership roles that I otherwise would have passed up, and a general optimism that it is up to me to make my career what I want it to be.

I found the cadence and structure of the program to be the perfect balance of introspection coupled with action. Her approach is not a touchy-feely pie-in-the-sky discover-your-true-life-meaning sort of thing.  There is introspection involved, but it is largely focused on applying the ideas that come out of those discussions into practical next steps.

The biggest takeaway for me was a sense of ownership over my career. I now have a set of concrete next steps and goals. In general, I feel a sense of confidence that I have the tools to make my career what I want it to be.  In other words, working with you helped me frame my career in terms of smaller, manageable steps that are exciting to me. My manager recently mentioned he has noticed that I have taken on more leadership roles in past few months and is excited to support me for promotion this quarter. My performance has improved dramatically, I am more engaged at work, and excited about the future, largely because I no longer feel like my career is out of my control.”

“Reaching out to ask for help is an act of faith. It isn't easy to drop your guard and open yourself up, but with Lindsay it is worth it. When I asked Lindsay for help, I was on the verge of a panic attack. I was hyper-focused on all the negative things about my job and my life in general. And yes Lindsay can help you realize your strengths, build upon them, and pursue your dream job. But if you are like me, and don't KNOW what your dream job looks like, Lindsay can help you do something even more amazing: she can help you re-conceptualize your life, zoom out, and appreciate what you do have.

Equal parts self-improvement and self-actualization. Lindsay knows what she is talking about, and is a top-notch listener. This isn't a silver bullet. She isn't going to solve your problems for you. And if you are looking for snake-oil, look elsewhere. If you want a thought-partner to help you figure out where you want to go and then get there, give her a shot. She's not only incredible at what she does--she actually enjoys it!

P.S. Coaching isn't just for the aimless or unemployed. I'm a graduate of a top ten law school practicing at a well-regarded firm.”

"I highly recommend A life of Options coaching program. I reached out to Lindsay because I needed clarity as to whether I should embark on a new career path or whether I should continue on my current career path. Lindsay's structured and open-minded approach allowed me the space to discover my next steps based on identifying my own intrinsic measures that would help me create the most rewarding career path.

The programs bi-monthly exercises allotted for just the right amount of time to process what I was learning and also allowed me time to apply these new skills from week to week. Lindsay's feedback was purposeful and essential, as were the core value, strength builder, and reflection exercises. I was quickly able to see the right career direction and in addition, was able to see a greater vision for my career trajectory. I am certain the lessons I retained from this experience will be life long and will benefit me greatly."

“Just a couple days after last we spoke I made the decision to stay at my current job and take the promotion, and I have felt very good about that decision ever since. I really can't thank you enough for your help, I don't know how I would have navigated this decision without your support.

The past two months have been great. I've gotten all sorts of new responsibilities, I'm learning exactly the skills I set out to gain, my colleagues have been so supportive and appreciative -- I really can't say enough about how good I feel about it. There are certainly a lot of challenges ahead, but I feel I have tons of support, and I'm excited to get to work.”
